Relief Business Analyst

Job Purpose:
The Relief Business Analyst acts as a key liaison between Business Stakeholders, Systems Teams, Pepkor IT, and other technology suppliers. This role ensures the development of optimal business processes and system functionality to support the execution of business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, document, and optimise business processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Gather and manage business requirements to enable effective system processes.
• Create detailed User Stories reflecting system configurations or development needs.
• Develop and maintain Test Cases to ensure thorough system testing.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for stakeholders.
• Support project management activities, including planning and execution.
• Test and validate system configurations, facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
• Govern business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide user support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in buying or merchandising within a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes.
• Experience contributing to cross-functional projects.
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Logical and systematic problem-solving approach.
• Competencies: attention to detail, agility, adaptability, quick learning, innovation, resilience, organisation, active listening, strategic thinking, and big-picture perspective.
